Climb Nominated For Epiphany Prize!

THE CLIMB was nominated for the prestigious Epiphany Prize. This prize is sponsored by The John Templeton Foundation and is presented annually at the MOVIEGUIDE Awards Gala which was held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills.

The MOVIEGUIDE gala honors the most inspiring movie and television program “that has resulted in a greater increase in man’s love of God or man’s understanding of God.”

All involved with THE CLIMB felt quite honored to even be nominated as the competition was pretty stiff: “Evelyn,” “The Count Of Monte Cristo,” “Italian For Beginners,” “Joshua,” and “To End All Wars”.  “Evelyn,” directed by Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss DaisyTender Mercies) and starring Pierce Brosnan (Die Another DayLaws Of Attraction) won the award and Mr. Beresford was a very gracious recipient along with “Evelyn’s” writer, Paul Pender.

The awards gala was taped and aired on PAX TV (now ION Television).
